MCMS

As the only company in Sweden, Finland and the Baltics, Malux can now offer the revolutionary Malux CUI Management system. The system is based on brand new sensor technology that can determine whether water is present in the insulation, which is a prerequisite for corrosion to develop.

The value is the information that the system delivers.

  • What does it actually look like under the insulation?
  • Where are our risks?
  • How can we avoid unplanned stops?
  • Could it lead to flammable gas/liquid leaking out through the pipe which eventually ignites?

As a user, you will get a clear picture of what the environment looks like under the insulation sheet on the pipes. The insights provided by continuous CUI risk monitoring can be used in several ways, leading to vast cost savings and safety improvements.

How it works

1. Collection of data
The sensor measures up to 12 times per day. It is redundant through its dual sensors and measures relative humidity (RHt), water and temperature. The sensor sends the information wirelessly over the 4G/5G network to the cloud using its built-in E-sim card.

2. Functions
Data is collected, analyzed and stored in the cloud where the system is administered by the user. Device identification, monitoring, logging of data and settings for alarm levels take place here. In connection with the system being expanded in the facility (i.e. more sensors), the operator/administrator handles everything from here.

3. Visualization
The key lies in how the IoT platform is coded (machine learning) for analysis of the information the sensor delivers and how we visualize it for the user. This is what you want.

Unique benefits

  • Big savings on CUI related issues
  • 100% control of deviations
  • Exact positioning of the water
  • Avoid corrosion by early detection and repair, confirm
    successful mitigations
  • Avoid unecessary tearing of insulation
  • Avoid unplanned stops
  • Act in a timely manner under controlled conditions.
  • Increased security
  • Data collection which can be used to improve knowledge of pipe maintenance.
